Extend DVI Video Up to 3,300 Feet!

DVE 1000 Video Extender Specifications

•Protocol

: Complies with VESA standard DDC2B. Class 1 laser product.

•Connectors (on both transmitter and receiver): One fiber-optic ST connector (female), one

female DVI-D connector; one 2.5 mm power connector.

•Optical Cable (CFSM ST): Uses single-fiber multimode 62.5 micron cable w/ ST male connectors.

Supports fiber-optic cable distances up to 3,300'. CFS simplex fiber-optic cable is available in custom

lengths up to 1,640' (see ordering info below). NOTE: Fiber-optic cabling is not included w/ the DVE 1000.

•DVI-D Cables: Two 3-foot DVI-D male-to-male cables included. Use to connect computer with

DVI-D port to DVI 1000 transmitter and DVI 1000 receiver to DVI-D ready monitor.

•Power Supply

: Two external AC/DC adapters are included. Universal input 90~264VAC (includes

adapters for all standard U.S. and European socket configurations). Output is 1.6A @ 5 V

DC.

Transmitter unit normally takes power from the DVI-D cable. However, if the computer graphics

card is unable to provide enough power, the included AC/DC adapter can be used to power the

transmitter. Power Consumption: 3 W for each transmitter or receiver unit.

•Environmental: Operating Temp.: +32 to +122°F (0~50°C). Rel. Humidity: 5~95%, noncondensing.

Our DVE 1000 extender systems allow you to locate either

monitors or projectors up to 3,300 feet away from their host PCs.

Connect monitors & computers w/ VESA DVI-D cables (two 3-ft. DVI-D

cables included); connect transmitter/receiver units with fiber-

optic cable (see ordering info below). Major advantages include:

• Effectively eliminates monitor and projector placement

restrictions while enhancing computer system security.

• Computers (and people) can be located farther from noise,

dirt, shock, vibration, & other hazards of shop/lab floors.

KVME 1225-xx KVM Extender Features

•Local & Remote: You can have a local keyboard, mouse, monitor, and speakers near your PC,

and at a remote location up to 3300 feet away. Various 6-foot cables are included for easy setup.

•

Multiple Protocols: Supports VGA, DVI, & stereo graphics (BNC) video signals, as well as PS/2,

USB, & Sun (8-pin) keybd/mouse signals, automatically converting all keyboard, video, & mouse inputs

to all KVM outputs. Also carries duplex RS-232 serial & stereo audio/mic/speaker signals, supporting

audio communications and serial touchscreen applications. Max. resolution: 1920 x 1200 pixels.

•Connectors: Fiber: Duplex ST, LC, or SC (depending upon model selected). Other Connectors:

DVI, HD15, DB-9F, USB, PS/2, Sun KB/MS, Mic, BNC Stereo Emitter, Audio in/out, AC power in.

•Optical Cable (CFDM xx): Duplex multimode fiber-optic cable supports distances up to 3,300

feet (see ordering information below). NOTE: Fiber-optic cable is not included with KVME 1225-xx.

•Physical: Dimensions (Transmitter & Receiver): 19"W x 14.9"D x 1.74"H (483 x 379 x 44 mm), Weight:

11.6lbs (5.24 kg) each. Suitable for stand-alone use or rack mounting (rack-mount brackets included).
